Are you planning a holiday or a weekend on Lake Garda?
There are many things to do in Nago and Torbole: everything from lake sports such as kitesurfing, sailing, windsurfing to relaxing lakeside walks or panoramic picnics. Not to mention sport activities in the nature of Monte Baldo, including trekking, climbing, mountain biking and cayoning.
In addition to all this, many initiatives and activities color the summer evenings of Nago and Torbole, among these we recommend an event that our guests always appreciate: Degustanago and Torbole, an itinerant dinner, perfect to enjoy the history and culinary wonders of these two villages located on the lake and at the same time discover the most panoramic views.
Appetizers
The food and wine trail begins, with its first appetizer, in one of the most picturesque corners of Torbole: “Casa del Dazio”, overlooking the harbor of the city. Next up is the second appetizer that will be served at “Parco degli Ulivi”, a small panoramic street on the Lake, surrounded by olive trees and green areas.
Main course
“Piazza Gazzoletti”, in Nago, will welcome the main dishes. The location is easily reached through a 30-minutes picturesque walk on the lakeside (super recommended) that winds in the ancient valley of Santa Lucia, the same vally that the Venetians traveled in fifteen century carrying galleys and barges in order to fight the Sforza’s fleet. An alternative to walking are the convenient public means of transportation, always active and available.
Second courses
Just 230 meters (a 3-minute walk) away you can find Via Sighele in Nago, which, for this special occasion, turns into the realm of second courses. The street will host the last savory dishes of the itinerant dinner and it will also offer a view on the beautiful “Monte Baldo”.
Dessert
A Two-minute walk away you will find the last and sweet stage of this journey: via Piazzola with its many small sweet treats waiting for you. To end the culinary journey with sweetness.
The entire itinerant dinner will be accompanied by street artists who will offer musical and theatrical performances.
